The Academic Advising Center is the primary resource and support for:

  • Advisor Training and Certification
  • New and Current Undeclared Students
  • Alternative Major Exploration
  • Prospective Students
  • Students in Transition
  • Students on Academic Notice
  • Texas Success Initiative (formerly TASP)

    The Academic Advising Center is designed to assist undergraduate students with core curriculum and Texas Success Initiative information especially during their first year of enrollment.  Students who have a declared major have available to them the services of their major department or college advisors.

We are open Monday and Tuesday from
8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  No appointment is necessary.

USCHOLARS EMAIL POLICY

USCHOLARS HAS MOVED!  Formerly located in the Student Service Center, we are now located in the basement of the M.D. Anderson Library, rm. 56, accessible through the Technology Support Services entrance on the southeast side of the Library, which is directly across from the University Center's west loading dock.
